From mega-clubs like NYC's legendary Roxy, Limelight and Sound Factory, to exotic beach clubs in Tel-Aviv and Fire Island, to the famed nightclub, Queen, in Paris, to repeat New Years Eve events in England, and much more, DJ Spyder has expressed to the global masses his passion for music and elightened them with his technical skills.
Spyder began his career in 1982 as a radio DJ playing rock music, then switched over to New Wave radio and nightclubs as well as disco, which was also at it's peak at the time. Spyder was notorious for breaking the latest tracks for large and influential crowds. He's played events attended by many celebrities, such as Patti Labelle, Grace Jones, Billy Crystal, Andrew "Dice" Clay, Al Jarreau, Billy Joel, Weather Girls, and many more, including the late, former President Of The United States, Richard Nixon. He's worked alongside some of the biggest DJ's and performers like Johnny Vicious, Doc Martin, Jeff Mills, Keoki, Larry Tee, Deee-lite, RuPaul, DJ Pierre, 95 North, Lady Bunny, Junior Vasquez, France Joli, etc.
Spyder was a member of the prestigious record pool, For The Record, in NYC, for more than 10 years, alongside some of the biggest names in the industry like Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Satoshi Tomiie, Hector Romero, Danny Krivit, Junior Vasquez, Angel Moraes, etc.
Currently working as a Manager for a large vinyl record wholesale distributor and pressing plant, Spyder now has limited his time to DJ'ing to taking only the occasional special event. His music focus is now on house, progressive house, tribal house, disco house and soulful house.
In 2007, along with good friend, Twisted Dee, Spyder released his debut single "Ecstasy, Desire & Dreams" (Hammer Music USA), which immediately went #1 in Europe.
During his spare time, Spyder authors the popular DJ and pop culture-themed blog, Spyder's Random Things.
Spyder is also the General Director of Tilted Wig Entertainment Management Services, working with some of the most talented DJ's in the world, as well as the hottest tribal and progressive house label, Hammer Music USA.
